Our Elementary Program (Kindergarten–4th Grade) provides a structured, nurturing, and Christ-centered learning environment where students build a strong academic and spiritual foundation. We use the BJU Press curriculum, grounded in a Biblical worldview, integrating faith into every subject. Our teachers deliver engaging, hands-on instruction while supporting each student’s individual growth.
Students also participate in Bible lessons and projects, quarterly reading contests, and U.S. and state history activities to enrich their learning experience.
Our goal is to create a safe, Christ-centered environment where students grow academically, socially, and spiritually.
STATEMENT OF PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION
The school’s highest priority is spiritual training. Children must be taught the Bible and the claims of Jesus Christ in relation to their lives. Conformity to Christ’s image (Romans 8:29) is the ultimate goal of spiritual training. Proper Christian character and a correct view of life begin with an appropriate relationship to God through Jesus Christ and a worldview based on the Word of God.
Academics are stressed at every level. Not only are cognitive skills strengthened, but students are also taught to think within the boundaries of the Bible. All truth is recognized as God’s truth and is not in conflict with the Scriptures.
Proper social relations are to be Bible-based in a Christian school. Decency and morality are believed to be the appropriate stances for the Christian. In a day of casual “do as you please behavior,” the Christian school stresses self-control, respect for law and order, patriotism, and Bible-based morality.
To provide a well-rounded education, all core academics, fine arts, and athletics are integrated into the philosophy and curriculum to foster a wholesome Christian atmosphere.
